Overview

The 1996 Cabrio is available as a single convertible model. Daytime running lights are now standard for the Cabrio. Other standard safety features include dual air bags, side impact protection beams, anti-lock brakes and an integrated roll bar. Optional features include a four-speed automatic tranmission, leather seating and air conditioning. Clearcoat metallic paint, seven- spoke alloy wheels and a six-disc CD changer are also available options. Additional standard features include power windows, dual heated outside mirrors, rear window defroster and integrated decklid spoiler. The Cabrio is essentially carried over from the 1995 model year redesign.
