Overview
The MR2 Spyder returns for 2002 with minor revisions. New for this year is an optional five-speed sequential manual transmission (5SMT), which comes equipped with an automatic clutch, cruise control, and steering wheel mounted shift controls. Standard equipment includes four-wheel anti-lock brakes, 15-inch alloy wheels, and an AM/FM stereo with cassette and CD player. The MR2 interior features drilled aluminum sport pedals, and a leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.The optional Leather package adds leather seating, leather door trim, and either a Tan or Black convertible top. Other available options include a two-piece floor mat set, a carbon fiber dash, and alloy wheel locks. Yellow cloth interior has been discontinued for this year.
