Overview
The Pontiac Sunfire coupe returns with minimal changes to the exterior. Concerning vehicle equipment, it now offers three Option Groups: 1SA, 1SB, and 1SC. The upper level Option Group 1SC features upgraded cast aluminum wheels, cruise control, performance tires, a Convenience Package, a Sport Interior Package, and Security Package. For added safety, four-wheel ABS brakes and side impact airbags are available. Daytime running lamps come standard. The Sunfire also features a new 2.2L engine providing 140-hp and 150 lb.-ft. of torque. Other options include a Protection Package, Sun and Sound Package, and Power Package. New exterior paint colors include Summit White, Victory Red, and Electric Blue Metallic.
