Overview

Mercedes-Benz redesigns the CLK-Class coupe and cabriolet for 2006, including a revamped exterior, new standard equipment, and a new base engine. The CLK320 is replaced by the more powerful CLK350, which boasts a 268-hp 3.5L V6 engine matted to a seven-speed automatic transmission. The CLK350 also gets an enhanced front apron design and new premium wheels. The CLK500 returns with only a few changes, receiving a sportier interior and an AMG exhaust system. New active front head restraints are now standard across the board. The CLK-Class also offers it's top of the line model in the CLK55 AMG cabriolet, which shows off a 5.5L V8 engine producing 362 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque. Options include a DVD system, Keyless Go, parking sensors, and a designo trim package.
