Overview
The 2005 Mercedes-Benz CL Class is available in four models--CL500, 55 AMG, 600 and 65 AMG. The CL500 features a 302hp engine, driver adaptive 7-speed automatic transmission and Active Body Control suspension along with heated front seats and premium leather. The CL55 upgrades this with an AMG enhanced 5-speed automatic, and 493hp engine with race inspired brakes and polished exhaust. The CL600 comes with a twin turbo V12 engine and multi-contoured front seats with Nappa Leather. The top of the line CL65 AMG at nearly $180,000 has a standard 604hp 36-valve V12 engine (producing 738 lb-ft of torque), 19" wheels and four polished exhaust tips. According to the manufacturer, it's the world's most powerful sport coupe.
