Overview
The four-wheel drive G500 is new addition to Mercedes Benz SUV model line-up. The four-door G500 is powered by 5.0L V-8 engine that produces 292 horsepower mated with five-speed Touch Shift automatic transmission that allows manual shifting. The G500 features three lockable differentials, selectively activated on dashboard switches. Safety features include dual air bags, anti-lock brakes (ABS), traction control, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and programmable daytime running lights. The COMMAND integrated GPS navigation system and AM/FM stereo with CD changer are standard amenities. In addition, automatic climate control, ten-way power seats, a power sunroof, and 18-inch alloy wheels are also standard.
