Overview
The C-Class returns for 2002 with a host of changes and new models. The C230 coupe is all-new, and is Mercedes-Benz+s lowest priced model. Power is provided by a 192-hp supercharged four-cylinder mated to a six-speed manual. The C320 Wagon is also a new model based on the C320 Sedan. The wagon features a maximum 63.6 cubic-feet of cargo capacity. Rounding out the new model list is the C32 AMG. Special features of the C32 AMG include a 349-hp supercharged V6, AMG-tuned suspension, unique trim, and unique wheels and tires. All C-Class models feature electronic stability control with traction control. Brake assist, also standard on all models, boosts braking force in emergency situations where the driver may not be applying enough pedal pressure.
