Overview

The 2006 LS has a simplified line-up with the V-8 Sport version as the only available trim. Design elements of the 2005 LSE trim (chrome grille with body-color surround, round fog lamps, and body-color rear license plate trim) are incorporated into 2006 model. Two new option packages – Elite and Premium – combine popular equipment choices, while two new 17-inch wheel styles, two new paint colors, and sleek new front and rear details freshen the design. The LS is powered by an all-aluminum 32-valve, DOHC 3.9-liter V-8 engine, which produces 280 horsepower and 286 pound-feet of torque. Heated and cooled front seats are available for extra comfort as well as an optional navigation system with Lincoln Soundmark® THX Certified Audio.
