Overview
The Continental sedan returns with minor changes for 2002. It is powered by a 275-hp 4.6L V8 engine coupled with a four-speed automatic transmission. The standard fully independent suspension features an automatic load-leveling rear and can be ordered with selectable ride control. Available upgrades include a power moonroof, Alpine Audio System, heated seats, and a tire pressure warning system that includes run-flat tires. The Continental is now available with a vehicle communication system that can provide information services, such as news and weather, safety and security services, and route guidance. This system also includes a hands-free Motorola Timeport telephone with voice activation.
