The 1996 Continental sedan is offered as a single model. New for 1996, a Diamond Anniversary Edition Feature Car will be offered to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Lincoln, and two new Touring Packages carrying a package discount is available. The Continental is equipped with delay accessory power, providing additional time for closing windows and radio after ignition is turned off. Standard features include keyless remote entry system, automatic climate control, outside heated mirrors, air filtration system, power locks and windows, leather bucket seats, theft deterrent system, trip computer and aluminum alloy wheels. Power moonroof, compact disc changer, traction control, cargo storage system and JBL sound system are also available.
