Overview

The GS sedan enters 2006 now available in three models: GS 300 RWD, the new GS 300 AWD, and GS 430. Lexus equips a new engine on the GS 300, a 245-hp 3.0L V6, which is matted to a six-speed automatic transmission. The GS 430 boasts a 4.3L 32-valve 300-hp V8 engine that is clocked at 0 to 60 in 5.7 seconds. Other model year changes include a restyled exterior, a longer wheelbase, a wider wheel track, and a newly organized interior cockpit. Standard luxury amenities include heated leather seats, a pushbutton starter, Bluetooth wireless technology, and alloy wheels. Premium options on the GS include a parking aid system, a Mark Levinson sound system, advance exterior lighting, and a DVD navigation system.
