Overview
The LX470 has received significant enhancement for 2003. The 3.5L V8 engine horsepower has been increased slightly from 230 to 235. A new five-speed automatic transmission replaces the four-speed automatic. The LX 470 also receive revised front styling and numerous interior upgrades. A new optional Night View enhances nighttime driving visibility. New front seat side impact airbags and front seat/second row side curtain airbags add to an array of safety features. New convenience features include steering wheel audio controls, rain sensing wipers, and rear seat audio. The standard DVD based navigation system add voice commands for 2003. New 18-inch alloy wheels replace the previous 16-inch wheels.
