Overview

The GS Sedan returns for this year with little revision and is again available in two models: GS 300 and GS 430. The engine on the GS 300 is a Twin Cam 3.0L 24-valve 220-hp inline six-cylinder engine. On the GS 430, the engine is a Four Cam 4.3L 32-valve 300-hp V8 engine. Returning for 2002 is the optional Mark Levinson Audio Package, which includes a power moonroof, leather heated front seats, and an eight-speaker premium sound system with a six-disc CD changer. Other option packages include the enhanced Lexus Navigation System, the Leather Trim Package, and the Premium Package. GS 430 exclusive options include a rear spoiler and a wood and leather steering wheel. Upgraded wheels and tires are available on the GS 430.
