The Lexus LS 400 returns for 1998 newly designed offering added performance, comfort, safety and styling. The LS 400 powertrain offers 30 more horsepower than last years LS 400. The LS 400 also features a new Vehicle Skid Control (VCS) system which electronically monitors the handling of the vehicle and helps compensate for the loss of lateral control. Several luxury amenities featured on the LS 400 include leather trim, automatic climate control, 10-way power driver's and passenger's leather seats and walnut wood trim on the doors and center console. Safety features include side-impact airbags, crumple zones and height adjustable seatbelts. High intensity discharge headlamps (HID) and a power moonroof are also available options.
