Overview
The 2000 Jaguar sedan is available in five different models: XJ8, XJ8L, XJR, Vanden Plas, and new for this year, the Supercharged Vanden Plas. Two new exterior paints are being made available: Platinum and Westminster Blue (Vanden Plas only). All Jaguar sedans come fully equipped with power windows and locks, a trip computer, alloy wheels, automatic climate control and a leather interior with burl walnut trim. Standard equipment added new for this year includes traction control, rain-sensing wipers, child seat tether anchorages and depowered front airbags. The Heated Seat Package, a six-disc CD Autochanger, an upgraded sound system and the integrated Jaguar Navigaiton System are some available options.
