Overview
Infiniti's mid-size luxury utility returns for 2006 with a few key changes, including an exterior facelift and added standard equipment. The FX is again available in two different engine models, the 280-hp 3.5L V6 FX35 (available in 2WD or AWD) and the 320-hp 4.5L V8 FX45 (available in AWD only). New standard equipment for this year includes heated leather seats, a 300-watt Bose sound system, an Advance Air Bag System, memory convenience features, and a RearView monitor. Additionally, all FX45 models now receive the Premium Package as standard equipment. FX exterior revisions include new wheels, bumpers, and grille. Three new exterior colors have also been made available.
