Overview
The S2000 received some major changes last year and returns this year unchanged. Both the interior and the exterior received a fresh new look for 2004 with redesigned front and rear bumpers and a new center console with metallic trim. The S2000 is powered by a 2.2L four-cylinder VTEC engine that produces 240 hp at 7,200 rpm and 162 lbs-ft of torque at 6,200 rpm. The engine is mated to a short throw six-speed manual transmission. For superior handling capability, the S2000 is equipped with a limited slip differential and double wishbone sport-tuned suspension as standard equipment. The S2000 also features 17-inch lightweight alloy wheels riding on wide low-profile Bridgestone Potenza performance tires.
