Overview
The 2003 S2000 returns with basically no changes to its racing-bred formula. The power comes from a 2.0L 16-valve 240-hp DOHC inline four-cylinder VTEC engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Keeping the S2000 glued to the road is a limited slip differential, 50/50 front to rear weight distribution, double wishbone sport suspension, and 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels and Bridgestone Potenza tires. The interior trim is accented with both aluminum and leather. Leather seats, steering wheel, and shift knob are all standard. Safety features include dual front air bags, four-wheel antilock disc brakes, and side impact door beams. The soft convertible top is powered and uses a glass rear window with defroster.
