Overview
For the 2003 model year, Dodge introduces the all-new Viper. Expected to arrive in dealerships in the fall of 2002, the Viper will feature an entirely new exterior, interior, and powertrain. Only the RT/10 convertible model will be offered. The new 500 cubic-inch V-10 will boast 500 horsepower and 525 lb.-ft. of torque. The Viper has also received a new cross-hair grille, side door scoops, and a new retractable soft-top. In addition, it features newly styled 18-inch wheels on the front and 19-inch wheels on the rear. The Viper+s interior offers race-inspired leather bucket seats slotted to accommodate a five-point harness belt as well as a completely redesigned dashboard with vertically mounted secondary gauges and a push-button starter.
