Overview
The Mercedes-Benz R500 last had a manufacturer update on 11/01/2006. For 2007, Mercedes-Benz returns with new wagon models bringing the line-up to four: R320 CDI, R350, R500, and R63 AMG. Standard amenities include keyless remote entry, privacy glass, heated mirrors, and the COMAND System. The R63 AMG adds a standard R/V monitor, heated seats, moonroof, the TeleAid Communication System, and DVD-based Navigation system. Optional features on the R350 and R500 include an entertainment system, parking sensors, and a hands-free voice recognition telephone. An optional Lighting Package contains cornering fog lights and adaptive Bi-HID headlamps with washers. Safety features include rain-sensing intermittent windshield wipers, dual front airbags, front and rear head curtain airbags, and side impact airbags. The Mercedes-Benz R500 was introduced in 2006; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
