Overview

The Maxima remain unchanged for 2003. The Maxima is available in three trims: GXE, SE, and GLE. The new Titanium Edition Package adds 17-inch dark chrome wheels, side impact air bags, floor mats, and premium Bose stereo system. The Maxima is powered with 255 horsepower engine at 5,800 rpm. The SE comes standard with a 6-speed manual transmission or automatic transmission. In addition, the SE is equipped with a Sport-tuned suspension, 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels, and P225/50VR17 performance tires. The optional Traction Control System (TCS) is available on the SE and GLE with automatic transmission only. When choosing the optional Navigation System, the 6-disc Compact Disc Changer is moved from the dash to the trunk.
