Overview
The 2003 Mountaineer is available in Base, Luxury and Premier 2WD and AWD models. The following standard equipment has been added this year: automatic on/off headlamps, dual illuminated vanity mirrors, dual power heated mirrors, driver-side keyless entry keypad, and power adjustable pedals. For the Luxury and Premier arrays, additional standard equipment includes color-keyed running boards and an Audiophile Sound System. The Premier now includes a moonroof. Interior enhancements include center integrated three-point safety belts and new bright friction finish on the front/rear door trim and center instrument panel. The Security Group, which includes the Safety Canopy System and Reverse Sensing System, is offered for added protection.
