Overview

The Envoy XL is the latest addition to the GMC line-up, and trim lines include SLE and SLT in 2WD and 4WD. The Envoy XL features a longer wheelbase and overall length to accommodate for standard seven-passenger seating. Features exclusive to the XL include full width rear doors, front and rear air conditioning, and a power rear quarter vent. All models feature an automatic transmission coupled with an all-new Vortec in-line six-cylinder engine that produces 270 horsepower and 275 lb.-ft. of torque. 4WD models are equipped with an Autotrac active transfer case and are available with an Underbody Shield Package. Optional equipment includes a locking rear differential and a rear seat entertainment system with DVD player.
