Overview

The Lexus LX 470 features only a minor change for 2002. The Lexus Navigation System is now standard and has been upgraded to DVD format, which minimizes disc-swapping by including a larger map database per disc. The DVD/CD six-disc changer can also function with the Navigation System as a DVD movie system. The 4WD LX470 is powered by a 230-hp 4.7L engine with an electronically-controlled four-speed automatic transmission. Standard equipment includes automatic climate control, power windows, power rear quarter windows, and power heated front seats. Heated power fold-away outside mirrors, and cruise control are also standard. Optional equipment offered for the LX 470 includes 16-inch chrome wheels ,and a Mark Levinson Premium Audio System.
