Overview
The S40 receives minor changes for 2002. The Sport Package was further enhanced with a new aluminum effect inlay and a sporty instrument cluster in addition to a rear spoiler, front fog lights, and a sport leather steering wheel. The Visby Leather/Cloth seats will be replaced by leather seating if the Sport Package is ordered together with the Premium Plus Package. For safety, the S40 is now equipped with an emergency trunk release. A new rear armrest with integrated cupholders is now standard. Available options include a power sunroof, leather seats, a power driver seat, and integrated child seats. The optional Cold Weather Package includes Dynamic Stability Assistance (DSA), heated seats, and headlamp wiper/washer.
