Overview

Isuzu's flagship SUV has received minor changes for 2002. The Trooper is again available in three trims: S, LS, and Limited, and in either 2WD or 4WD. All models are powered by a 3.5L 215-hp V-6 engine. The LS 4WD model is equipped with a five-speed manual transmission, while all other models receive a four-speed automatic. All Troopers feature four-wheel ABS brakes, power locks and windows, cruise control, and 16-inch aluminum wheels. The LS and Limited trims add various features such as automatic climate control, power seat adjusters, and a six-disc CD changer. This year, a power moonroof is now standard on both the LS and Limited models. New exterior color combinations are also available on all models.
