Overview
The Tribute 2WD continues this year with several notable changes. DX V6 models will no longer be produced after September 30, 2001. DX four-cylinder, LX V6, and ES V6 models are still available. DX models now feature standard 16-inch alloy wheels, privacy glass, and a keyless entry system. DX V6 models also feature a new standard wheel lip molding. New higher quality floor mats are standard on all models. LX and ES models receive an adjustable lumbar support for the driver+s seat. A four-wheel anti-lock braking system is now standard on ES models, optional the LX, and not available on any DX model. New exterior colors this year include Dark Titanium Metallic, Calypso Blue Metallic, Light Cypress Metallic, and Glacier Silver Metallic.
