Overview
The S-Type is available in two models: S-Type 3.0L V6 and S-Type 4.0L V8. New for 2002 is a Sport Package, which includes 17-inch sport wheels and tires, sport seats, a leather steering wheel and special perforated leather trim. It also includes Computer Active Technology Suspension (CATS), which automatically adjusts the firmness of the shock absorbers. Among the safety features are antilock brakes, traction control, and front and rear crumple zones. Eight-way power front seats, bird+s-eye maple trim, leather seats, and dual-zone climate control are some of the standard luxury features. A Communication Package including voice-activated controls and a navigation system is optional. Also optional is a Premium Sound Package and a Weather Package.
