Overview
The Camry sedan has been substantially redesigned for 2002. A sleeker, more aerodynamic appearance has been achieved through the fitting of a new front air dam and swept-back multi-reflector halogen headlamps. The CE model has been dropped, while the new SE model has joined the LE and XLE to complete the Camry line-up. All Camry sedans are available with either a 157-hp four-cylinder engine, or a 192-hp 24-valve V6. Standard features include power locks and windows, cruise control, and a cassette/CD stereo. Available safety options include side-impact airbags and anti-lock brakes (standard on V6 and XLE models). Several upgrade packages are also available, containing popular features such as keyless entry, a sunroof, and a vehicle navigation system.
