Overview

The Eclipse Spyder returns with only minor changes for 2002. Two models are again available, GS and GT. The GS is equipped with a 147-hp four-cylinder engine, while the GT receives a 200-hp V-6. A five-speed manual transmission is standard on both models, while a four-speed electronically controlled automatic is available at extra cost. Standard features include air conditioning, power windows and locks, and a single CD stereo. Optional upgrade packages are available on the GT models, providing features such as side-impact air bags, an in-dash CD changer, anti-lock brakes, and leather seating surfaces. Several dealer-installed accessories are also available. Titanium and Flash Blue have been added as new exterior color choices for 2002.
