Overview

The Eclipse Coupes return with only minor changes for 2002. Three models are again available: RS, GS, and GT. Both the RS and GS are equipped with a 147-hp four-cylinder engine, while the GT receives a 200-hp V-6. A five-speed manual transmission is standard on all models, while a four-speed electronically controlled automatic is available at extra cost. Standard features include air conditioning, power windows and locks, and a single CD stereo. Optional upgrade packages are available on the GS and GT models, providing features such as a power sunroof, an Infinity audio system with in-dash CD changer, and leather seating surfaces (GT model only). Titanium and Flash Blue have been added as new exterior color choices for 2002.
