Overview
The Camry Solara is available as a coupe or a convertible in two different trim lines: SE or SLE. New for 2002 are redesigned grille, bumper, headlights and taillights. The SE includes dual airbags, a CD player, and power windows and door locks. The SLE adds 16-inch aluminum wheels, power leather seats, automatic climate control, and a rear spoiler. The Solara has two available engines: a 157-hp 2.4L four-cylinder and a 200-hp 3.0L six-cylinder. The SE coupes are equipped with a five-speed manual transmission or an optional four-speed automatic which is standard on all other models. Upgrade packages provide features such as a premium stereo, carpeted floor mats, and remote keyless entry. A sunroof and six-disc CD changer are also options.
