Overview
The 2002 Sequoia is available in two trim lines: SR5 and Limited. Both models feature 2WD and 4WD equipped with a 4.7L 240-hp V-8 engine, a four-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel disc antilock brakes. Unique standard features include Vehicle Skid Control (VSC) and Traction Control (TRAC). VSC is a system designed to help maintain cornering stability in situations where the vehicle is about to lose traction and skid sideways. TRAC is a traction control system that operates in both 2WD and 4WD. The optional Alloy Wheel Package offers 16-inch alloy wheels, a tow hitch, privacy glass, running boards, and flared fenders. New optional features for 2002 include a keyless entry remote system and front fog and daytime running lights.
