Overview

The Outback sedan is now available in two new models, Outback H6-3.0 VDC and Outback H6-3.0. Both models are powered by a 3.0 liter DOHC in-line 6-cylinder engine with 212 horsepower. The H6-3.0 VDC model has a Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC) System with Variable Torque Distribution (VTD). In addition, the VDC features an off switch. All models, including the Limited, are now equipped with an Internal Child Safety Trunk Release. The new air filtration system and woodgrain patterned door switch trim are standard features, except for on the Limited model. An 8-way power driver seat is standard on H6-3.0 and H6-3.0 VDC. Available options include a rear spoiler, an in-dash CD changer, and a variety of roof cargo attachments.
