Overview
The Mustang is available in four models: Base and GT, in Coupe and Convertible. Standard equipment on all models includes four-wheel disc brakes, power windows and locks, tinted glass, and a stainless steel exhaust system. The base models are equipped with a 3.8L V-6 engine with electronic engine controls and 16-inch cast aluminum wheels. The GT models receive a 4.6L 260 horsepower V-8 engine, anti-lock brakes, 17-inch cast aluminum wheels, and a rear spoiler. All Mustangs are available with either an automatic or a manual transmission. Upgrades such as leather bucket seats and a six-disc CD changer are also available. New this year is an optional 10-speaker Mach 1000 Audio System, with speed-sensitive volume control.
