The Corolla returns for 2002 with minor changes. It is again available in three models: CE, S, and SE. In addition to the standard equipment offered on the CE model, the S model includes power locks, bodyside moldings, P185/65R14 tires, and dual remote mirrors. The LE model further adds a deluxe AM/FM stereo with cassette, heavy-duty rear defroster, and a split folding rear seat. Optional features include the Extra Value Package #1, side airbags, and power sunroof (only available for the S and LE models). The Extra Value Package includes air conditioning, an AM/FM stereo cassette (CE model only), digital clock, and power windows (S and LE models only). All Corolla models are now available with an optional automatic transmission.
