Overview

The Chevrolet Impala is available in two models: Base and LS. A 180 horsepower 3.4L V-6 engine is standard on the Base and a 200 horsepower 3.8L V-6 is standard on the LS, optional on the Base. The 3.8L equipped models include anti-lock brakes, traction control, and sport touring suspension. New standard features include dual air conditioning, an AM/FM stereo with cassette, and child safety seat anchors. Standard on the LS are cruise control, keyless remote entry, and Onstar, which are also available options on the Base.
