Overview
The Pontiac Sunfire is available in three models: SE Coupe, SE Sedan, and GT Coupe. The GT Coupe features upgraded cast aluminum wheels, performance tires and the more powerful 2.4L DOHC engine as standard equipment. For added safety, all models feature four-wheel ABS brakes, daytime running lamps and optional traction control. Available optional packages include the Convenience Package, the Sun and Sound Package (SE Coupe) and the Sun and Storm Package (GT Coupe). The Sport Interior Package features driver lumbar support and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. Changes for 2002 include a standard tilt steering wheel and electric trunk release, and three new exterior paint colors, Polo Green, Mayan Gold, and Spring Green.
