Overview
The Firebird is available in five models: Coupe, Convertible, Formula Coupe, Trans Am Coupe, and Trans Am Convertible. Bright Silver Metallic is a new exterior color. New standard features include a power antenna and power mirrors. A hatch roof and a six-way power driver seat are new standard features on the Formula coupe. Available option packages include the 3800 V6 Performance Package, Sport Appearance Package, GT Package, and the Ram Air Performance and Handling Package. The Ram Air Performance and Handling Package increases the horsepower to 325 for the 5.7L engine and it features the Ram Air Induction System, 17-inch high-polished aluminum wheels, P275/40ZR17 speed-rated tires, and dual outlet exhaust.
