Overview
Acura adds the Type-S to the 3.2TL model line-up for 2002. The Type-S receives a 260-hp V-6 engine, sport-tuned suspension, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), 17-inch wheels with performance tires, metallic-face gauges, and a perforated leather interior. All models come standard with a Sequential Sportshift five-speed automatic transmission. Exterior styling changes include the addition of front fog lights and a redesigned front fascia and taillight section. The standard feature list now boasts a new in-dash six-disc CD changer. Acura+s Navigation System is available as an option on both the 3.2TL and the Type-S edition.
