Lincoln introduces the 2002 Blackwood, a rear wheel drive Luxury Utility Vehicle designed on a truck platform. Offering four doors and a stainless steel lined short truck bed, the Blackwood is powered by a 300 horsepower DOHC V-8 engine combined with a four-speed automatic transmission. Standard features include a reverse sensing system, temperature controlled front seats, a dual door tailgate, a wood and leather wrapped steering wheel with climate and radio controls, and a power tonneau cover equipped with an obstacle detection system. Interior equipment includes a 160-watt Alpine audio system with a six-disc CD changer, leather bucket quad seats, wood accented trim, adjustable pedals, and electronic automatic climate control.
