Overview

Cadillac has completely redesigned the Escalade for 2002. Available with either 2-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, both models have received new engines. The 2-wheel drive is powered by a 5.3-liter 285 horsepower V-8, while the all-wheel drive has a 6.0-liter 345 horsepower V-8. Both are equipped with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The Escalade's exterior styling has been resculpted to give the vehicle sharper lines and a more chiseled overall look. The standard features list includes amenities such as heated leather seats, electronic climate control, and a premium audio system with 6-disc CD changer. In addition, the all-wheel drive models feature Stabiltrak, Cadillac's electronic stability enhancement system.
