The Kia Spectra is available in two models: GS and GSX. For 2001, the GSX model receives minors revisions such as a gas cap tether and dual visor vanity mirrors. The improved braking features thicker and larger front discs, as well as larger calipers and brake pads. The Cruise Package (GSX only) is equipped with cruise control, door mounted tweeters, and dual power mirrors. The new Long Haul Warranty Program extends the warranty to a ten-year/100,000 mile limited powertrain, a five-year/60,0000 mile limited basic warranty and a five-year/100,000 mile limited anti-perforation warranty. Optional features include an automatic transmission, variable intermittent wipers, a keyless remote entry system, and an anti-lock braking system.
