Overview
The Chrysler Town & Country returns completely redesigned for 2001. It is available in four models: LX, LXi, Limited, and the all-new EX. New features available include power sliding doors with manual override and obstacle detection, a power opening/closing liftgate, and side impact airbags. Also new for this year is a removable powered center console and three-zone automatic temperature control. Other improvements include standard seatbelt pretensioners, brake/transmission shift interlock, child seat anchors and tethers, reinforced head impact protection areas, and powertrain refinements. Four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes are standard on all models.
