The Honda CR-V represents the smaller of Honda's two utility vehicles. Basically unchanged from last year's model, the CR-V is again available in three trim lines: LX, EX and SE (or Special Edition). The LX model may be ordered in 2WD or AWD, while the EX and SE models come standard with AWD. New for 2001, all models feature standard child safety seat anchors. All CR-V's are powered by a 2.0L, 146-hp engine. Standard safety features include a rear window defroster and next generation driver and passenger airbags. An anti-lock braking system is standard on the EX and SE models. The SE model also offers a leather trimmed interior, a three-in-one AM/FM/Cassette/CD stereo system, and body colored side moldings.
