Overview
The 2001 Sportage is available in six models: two-door convertible, four-door hardtop and four-door hardtop EX in either 2WD or 4WD models. New for this year is the Kia Long Haul Warranty Program that includes a five-year/60,000 mile basic warranty and ten-year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty. Also new is the Limited trim option (EX only) which includes many added luxury features such as a 140-watt AM/FM/CD cassette stereo system, a hard spare tire cover, special alloy wheels, platinum-faced gauges, and a chrome luggage rack. Standard safety features include dual front airbags and an exclusive driver-side knee airbag. Options include an automatic transmission, anti-lock brakes, a remote keyless entry system, and a Leather Package.
