Intellichoice Review
The 2001 Saab 9-5 is available in six models: Base, SE, and Aero, all in sedan and wagon models. On base models engines, horsepower has increased to 185 for the 2.3L turbocharged four-cyclinder engine, up from last year's 170 horsepower. Two new exterior colors, Laser Red and Steel Gray Metallic, have been added. Standard features now include OnStar with 12 months of premium service and a no charge scheduled maintenance program. Optional equipment includes a Premium Package, a four-speed automatic transmission (excluding SE models), front and rear heated seats, BBS 17-inch alloy wheels, and ventilated leather seats. The Premium Package includes a leather interior, memory driver seat, and a Harman/Kardon Audio system.
