Intellichoice Review
The RAV4 has been revised for 2001 and is available in 2WD and 4WD models. New features include a VVTi 2.0L engine that produces 21 more horsepower and ten more pounds of torque from last years version. The RAV4 is longer, wider, and taller, with increased passenger and cargo room for added convenience. Transmission choices include either a four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual. Standard equipment includes a rear defroster, tilt steering and cloth bucket seats with a split folding rear seat. Optional equipment includes anti-lock brakes and a Quick Order Package. The Quick Order Package comes equipped with air conditioning, cruise control, an AM/FM cassette/CD player, carpeted floor mats, and power mirrors, locks, and windows.
