GMC offers the all-new 2001 Yukon Denali in two AWD models: Denali and XL Denali. Power is upgraded from the Vortec 5.7L to the more powerful, 320 horsepower Vortec 6.0L. A new heavy duty electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission provides greater fuel efficiency and includes GM+s exclusive tow/haul mode. Larger four-wheel disc brakes, a Dynamic Brake Proportioning (DBP) system, and four-wheel ABS ensure better stopping power. Interior enhancements include more passenger legroom, standard tone-on-tone leather seat trim, and a revised instrument panel.
