Overview

The Montero Sport 4WD is now available in five models with the addition of both the ES and 3.5XS. The ES, which becomes the base model, is equipped with air conditioning, ABS brakes, and a full size spare tire. The new 3.5XS model comes equipped with a 3.5L V-6 engine, cruise control, alloy wheels, and special sport fabric. The LS model receives new equipment including a keyless entry system, roof rails, fender flares, and side steps. The Limited model upgrades by adding heated outside mirrors, a rear heater, wood grain instrument panel, and heated leather front seats. Optional equipment on the XLS includes a limited slip differential, a sunroof, and an Infinity premium sound system with diversity antenna.
